One Minute Wonders
60" video portraits
04 SEPTEMBER 2012, AMSTERDAM, LONDON, PARIS
SummaryOne minute wonders is just that: a series of video portraits featuring wondrous people telling their personal story in 60 seconds flat. Artists, entrepreneurs, designers, and rain-makers offer insight into their individuality, their motivations, and what really makes them tick. These are the people who we think live within a moment in time that we define as the Present Plus.
We didn’t start the project to gain anything. One Minute Wonder’s purpose is to inspire. We believe in karma and the premise that stories need to be told. We want to facilitate it. We love the challenge of talking about what we do in a creative way. Doing so helps demonstrate where our heart, interests, and passions live. One Minute Wonders is the best venue to tell a story– short and simple.
Present Plus is a term that was coined a few years ago to define a new tense or moment in time that is somewhere between the present (now) and the future. This is a point in time that the internet, cloud, and technology has made possible. Technology allows people to obtain information and products faster and simpler than ever before, creating a point where the future is always within reach. As a group of individuals, we wanted to be a part of this movement. We wanted to help shape it as well. So, we began developing products to achieve this end. One Minute Wonders tells the story of others doing the same, people who inspire us to reach further. Inspiring stories in under 60 seconds.
