"The Omnipollo" by Karl Grandin at Kuvva Gallery is live!

Karl Grandin is a Stockholm-based designer and illustrator who has for the past four years formed the designer half of Omnipollo, a nomadic brewing project that designs and brews small-scale batches of craft beer. This time around, Grandin and Omnipollo co-founder Henok Fentie brewed a purple-pink sour wheat, made with raspberries and key lime especially for Kuvva Gallery and our guests to enjoy!

De Stockholmse ontwerper en illustrator Karl Grandin vormt al vier jaar samen met Henok Fentie de 'nomadische’ bierbrouwerij Omnipollo. Het label staat bekend om zijn exclusieve oplages van handgemaakt bier dat zij zelf ontwerpen en brouwen. Voor de komende expositie in de Kuvva Gallery, die geheel in het teken staat van het Omnipollo universum, heeft Grandin een speciaal fris, paars-roze tarwebier voor onze gasten gebrouwd.

The Jaunt: Mike Perry

Amsterdam-based Gallery 33 is exhibiting The Jaunt's latest excursion with the prolific and colourful Mike Perry. Having travelled to Antwerp and stayed for a week to soak up the culture and the language, he is back in force to exhibit the prints created during his stay abroad, as well as a number of other works and pieces in all the colours and media of the rainbow!

Endgame - a show about playing videogames at Gallery 33

Amsterdam based Gallery 33 presents Endgame, a show about playing video games. The gallery invited a group of international artists to share some of their favourite video game memories and create all new work based on that one hard to finish level, great boss fight or the feeling of finally beating a game. Artists like Bruno Mangyoku, Evan Palmer, Jonathan Djob Nkondo, Robert Ball, Tom Haugomat, Vincent Tsui and more created very diverse pieces. From racing, to soccer and even rapping games, ...

Feathers - A show about dinosaurs at Gallery 33

Amsterdam based Gallery 33 presents Feathers, a show about dinosaurs. The gallery invited 24 artists from all over the world and asked them to revisit their childhood and create all new work based on these majestic creatures that once ruled the earth. Artists like Andrew Lyons, Jon Burgerman, Laszlito Kovacs, Saša Ostoja, Hanna K., Jake Parker and more created very diverse pieces. Techniques used range from watercolour to pure digital illustration and from dip pen with indian ink to riso prints.

Artists & Algorists

Innovations studio Present Plus present Artists & Algorists, a platform that aims to showcase the synthesis of art and computer science. The studio has developed a platform for digital interactive art, shining a light on a growing breed of artists that have adopted design and code to express themselves. In a permanent exhibition at art'otel Amsterdam, A&A also exhibits this new genre to non-digital natives, creating a truly immersive offline experience with a selection of their curated works.

The Gold Of The Andes

This story of The Inoue Brothers is about a distant dream of participating in The Chaccu, the Incan ceremony of solidarity. It was their way of harvesting the finest material created by Pacha Mama. The Incas believed the Vicuña animals were reincarnations of young maidens, rewarded with a coat of pure gold in return for giving life to their civilisation. They called it “The Gold Of The Andes”.

Hardy Amies Recreate The ABC’s of Men’s Fashion For The 21st Century

Paying homage to the ABC of Men’s Fashion, a book written by the brand’s founder, Hardy Amies releases a series of short films with some of the world’s most influential people involved in creative industries. The ABC’s of Men’s Fashion was first published in 1964 and written by Amies to offer guidance to young men on how to dress. It remains notorious today for its opinionated and witty tone.
